Meet Oliana, I now name every cake I make with a name, for each one contains a special and unique character.

Oliana contains no butter, and is just so simple and so easy to make. Like really really easy. Drizzle everything into the mixing bowl of your machine, swirl, bake, and eat.
I also think it’s a great party cake, they’ll never guess it has olive oil instead of butter and the flavor of the cinnamon-y banana is just delicious.
-3/4 cups sugar
-Teaspoon of vanilla
-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
-2 bananas plus 1 extra one sliced for garnish
-1/3 cup olive oil
-1 ¼ cup flour
-1 teaspoon baking powder
-1/2 teaspoon baking soda
-Handful of chocolate chips
-Caramel for garnish
Easy peasy lemon squeezy, here we go:
Simply place the eggs and sugar in the mixer and mix. Add the vanilla, cinnamon, banana, and olive oil, and mix (until well-combined). Drizzle in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and mix until well combined. Then place in a cake pan (Oiled, lined with parchment, and etc. if your using the metal kind, I use silicon so no need for anything!) slice the extra banana into slices and place all over the top of the cake and sprinkle a handful of chocolate chips on top then bake in a preheated oven of temperature 175C for 25-30 minutes or until beautifully golden. Allow to cool on a wire rack until cool, flip onto serving plate, and enjoy with some good caramel drizzled on top or some of your favorite ice cream.
