Yup. Pavlova, made the way i like it. I have a tooth that really hurts but this didnt stop me from eating this.
Pavlova is like what 75% of the time topped with berries. I love berries but i love oranges as well. ;)
Pavlova + Oranges + Strawberry yoghurt infused whipped cream = Excess weight gain + extreme deliciousness.
I love how these are made with a purpose mess. The way the cream is slimed on top of the meringue and how the fruit is chopped on top of the cream to allow the delectable juices to connect with the whole dish.
The yoghurt gave the whipped cream such a beautiful color. It turned from plain white into a luscious & subtle pink.
okay okay, blabbing too much. Here you go ;)
-5 egg whites
-275grams of caster sugar
-1 tablespoon of corn flour
-1 table spoon of vinegar
-1 pack of dream whip. Prepared.
-1 pot of yoghurt (190grams)
-2 oranges. Chopped.
Okay, first beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Then add the sugar in teaspoonfuls. Beating after each addition. Once it all comes to a glossy and stiff texture add the vinegar and fold slightly. Then sift the corn flour and fold light some more. In a preheated oven of 150C with a tray lined with baking paper. Gallop the mixture in the tray and bake for 1 hour or until you think its ready ;)
Allow to cool before topping with yoghurt whipped cream.
To prepare the yoghurt whipped cream:
Prepare the dream whip (Add 1/2 cup of milk & 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla and beat) then fold the yoghurt into the cream and fold the two together. Drizzle the meringue with the cream then top with the sliced oranges.
