Orange zest granola.

Boo you flavorless breakfasts! You anger me no more!

Usually breakfast consists of,

Milk tea & yoghurt

Or

Milk tea and ten seed rusks

Or

Milk tea and plain boring cereal.

You see, very typical and man, it gets boring eating these things everyday.

To add a little punch into my breakfast i decided to make granola. To me homemade granola is SO much better that store bought granola. its so flavorsome, simple, and enjoyable. I love it how the kitchen begins to tingle with the essence of vanilla, coconut, and sizzling oats.

To make things even more fresh, i flavored the granola with orange zests to add another flavor.

Now here you go ;)

Ingredients:

-About 3 1/2 cups of rolled oats

-1/2  cup of coconut powder

-3tbs of olive oil

-1/2 cup of almonds

-1/2 cup of walnuts

-3 tsp of vanilla essence

-zest of one orange

-pinch of sea salt

-three times a 1/3 cup of honey

-1/2 cup of brown sugar

Now, line a baking tray with baking paper. preheat your oven to 175 C.

In a big bowl the dry ingredients first then add the liquid ingredients and mix! Mix mix mix until incorporated.

Dump your mixture into the baking tray and keep in the oven for 35-40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to avoid over cooking.

You kitchen will smell beautiful!
